'Lamentate' was commissioned by the Tate Modern Gallery in London and is performed with Marrit Gerretz-Traksmann as the soloist, an interpreter of a special perception of Arvo Pärt's music. A British soprano with Indian roots, Patricia Rozario, with her unique voice and artistism has inspired many famous composers. 'Como cierva sedienta' ('As the deer longs') has been created specially for her. |
